MASKING YOUR MARKS

This is a difficult article for me to write because I want to do as much as I can to help anglers catch more fish. Whether that be through my writing, photography or blogging, I strive to help make fishing as approachable and easy to understand as possible. But I am an angler first and foremost, and I absolutely love my fishing. I also really enjoy fishing in quiet locations without loads of other anglers around, but we live on a relatively small island with a high population density. There are, quite understandably, a lot of saltwater anglers wanting to share the same spaces as other anglers. While this can work well in the competitive fishing scene, in the world of lure fishing for bass especially, I would suggest that, in terms of improving your chances of catching, the fewer anglers chucking lures at fish in the one location, the better.
