Back on track

I have owned my six-year-old Connemara gelding since he was four. For the first couple of years he was great, but now I find that he's challenging me more. It feels as though he's going through his teenage years! He has started napping on hacks and spinning and it is really starting to rattle my confidence. How can I get our relationship back on an even keel?
