’m thrilled to have Chris Cairns and his gorgeous wife Mel back in the mag this week, a year on from his terrifying aortic dissection and subsequent stroke. It. Contestants like Karen O’Leary (page 22) and Shimpal Lelisi (page 24) had me in stitches, and I even got to try my hand at some of the challenges, which are much more difficult than they look on TV! I also stood in for the stars so our talented photographer Michelle could test her lighting (below) – and even tried out one of the camp’s showers for a laugh (right).
