ACTIVATOR RAIL
When a redstone signal is powering it, an activator rail will ‘activate’ any minecart that passes over it. This could mean ejecting the passenger, enabling or disabling a minecart’s hopper, or setting the TNT alight.
BUTTON
When pushed, a button will generate a redstone pulse. Wooden buttons stay active for 1 second while stone buttons stay active for 1.5 seconds. After this time, the button will deactivate and the redstone power will be turned off.
COMMAND BLOCK
In the Java and Windows 10 edition, a command block can be used to execute a specific command and/or behaviour when it is powered by redstone. A normal command block executes its command once each time it is powered, while a repeating command block will execute the command constantly when powered.
