EVERY kind of flower under the sun, candles in all shapes and sizes and photographs accompanied by messages of condolence and love – this is what greets you when you enter Ferdinando’s Pizza restaurant in Cape Town.
The death of Kimon “Kiki” Bisogno, who owned the restaurant with her partner, Diego Milesi, has left hundreds of people stunned. Kiki (38) was more than a restaurateur – she was a community leader, a helper of the homeless and a vibrant force of nature.
“The colourful restaurant is an expression of her,” Diego (36) says as he leads YOU into the Observatory eatery. “I’m responsible for the food and she was responsible for everything
