    MATERIALS

    ◌ 16cm (6¼in) square of assorted print fabrics to total about 90cm (1yd)
    ◌ Fat sixteenth print fabric (external pocket gussets)
    ◌ 90cm (1yd) solid pink fabric (lining)
    ◌ 1.1m (1¼yd) of 50cm (20in) wide medium weight fusible interfacing
    ◌ Two 18mm (¾in) magnetic snaps ◌ Two 6cm {2½in) O rings
    ◌ 8cm (3in) of 25mm (1in) wide hook and loop tape (Velcro)
    ◌ Two 25mm (1in) flat-back buttons (external pocket embellishment)
    ◌ Large sheets of paper (patterns)
    ◌ Rotary cutter, ruler and mat
    ◌ Sewing machine with ¼in foot ◌ General sewing supplies

    Finished size:

    33 x 40.5cm (13 x 16in) not including the strap

    Note: Read all the instructions before starting the project. Requirements are based on fabric 107cm (42in) wide. It is recommended that fabrics be 100% cotton, pre-washed and well ironed. Use a ¼in seam for the patchwork and a ⅜in seam for assembling the bag. Backstitch at the beginning and end of every seam as
