BACK FROM THE DEAD!

t’s taken 20 years to see 1902/4 Fowler R class come together having arrived from Australia with two other engines in very much scrap condition. The spoked flywheel was just stumps and was typical of what the engine was like at the time. However thanks to owner Paul Stingmore the project is nearly completed and the engine made its fine debut at the Woodchurch Steam & Vintage Show on 6-7 August with team engineer Steve Casey assisting Paul when needed.
