Chez charming

fter opening award-winning and Michelin Star-rated restaurants in L.A., Chef Ludo Lefebvre is utilizing his culinary talents on our home turf with the opening of. Located in the Thompson Denver hotel, Chez Maggy’s French charm boasts the perfect gathering place for friends before a night on the town, or where a traveler passing through can feel at home during a solo stay in the city. Either way, the restaurant touts an unwavering element of coziness and family no matter what way you slice it. “Denver is my second home,” says Chef Ludo. “My wife Krissy grew up here and we have been visiting for over 23 years since we’ve been married. It is such a wonderful feeling that I can bring some of my cooking and the food I love the most to my friends and family in Denver, while introducing the rest of the city to a little French food.” The restaurant pays homage to Chef Ludo’s wonderful mother-in-law who passed away tragically, which is a lovely way to keep her memory alive through the food she loved. With that sentiment in mind, Chef Ludo continues to lean into his roots and heritage to create a unique approach to classic French cuisine using elements and ingredients native to Colorado. “Must-tries include the escargot and sole meunière. For drinks, Le Spritz (China China, Lillet Blanc, Soda, Sparkling Rose).”
