It is understandable that attention is fully focused on the World Cup, but just over a thousand miles to the northwest of Qatar there is plenty of pride in Palestine at the exploits of their football players. For a national team representing a federation that only became a full member of FIFA in1998 to qualify for a third successive Asian Cup, as they did in June, is quite an achievement.
