Delayed Delivery

My 1935 Ford panel delivery saga began back in 1986 during a trip to my wife’s hometown in Wisconsin. While driving along Interstate 94 south of Milwaukee, I spotted an old Ford panel delivery with shiny black paint sitting in the weeds on the other side of the highway. I’ve also always loved the looks and styling of the 1935 Ford commercial trucks. This panel delivery was sitting on top of a makeshift trailer in front of an abandoned house. I immediately stopped the car to investigate.
