I love Dorset, Devon and Cornwall but in the summer they are very busy. Get the kids back to school and everywhere is twice as delightful and ten times more accessible.
I have a huge longing to be on the Lizard in Cornwall. So beautiful, so dramatic and, whatever the weather, the most wonderful place to be. Out of season it’s generally possible to get your car down to Lizard Point – probably the best parking spot in the world.
