This and that, and a whole lot more!

Now that it has started to calm down on the plot and there aren’t as many time-critical jobs and harvests to complete, we can finally get around to jobs we have been putting off for a while. The inside of the greenhouse has been weeded and tidied, so it’s time to check over all the glass for any cracks or chips, then make sure all the supports, fixings and brackets are nice and tight, and that everything looks in good order.

After inspecting I like to give the glass a good clean to get algae and other detritus off both sides, as this then allows the maximum light to make its way to any crops still inside. I then like to make sure all the pots and trays that I used over the season are nice and clean before putting
