that's life!

Welcome

ne of the wonderful things about being part of the team is getting to bring you stories about those very special people who devote themselves to my friend Virginia, a frequent blood donor, texted me, sending a link to the announcement. That’s how I found myself nervously filling out my details in a waiting room a few days later. Every step of the way though, I was greeted with warm smiles. Before I knew it, I was sitting enjoying a post-donation biscuit. And soon after, I got a message to say my donation was on its way to patients in need. Of course, not everyone is eligible or able to donate, but if you’re considering it, I’d say ‘Go for it!’ Visit to find out more. Inspired by Resvan, who says she has no plans to retire from volunteering, I hope to make it a life-long commitment. It’s the least I can do!
