How Tea Swayed Voters in 1952

After Henry Cabot Lodge admitted defeat to losing his U.S. Senate seat to John F. Kennedy [JFK] in 1952, he reportedly blamed “those darn tea parties” for the loss. A unique political tactic, born from the hive mind of JFK and his committee, of enticing voters to come out and rally at thoughtfully executed tea parties ultimately altered the course of American history and aided in securing his presidency in 1960.
