ROSS was born in Auckland and commenced his high school years at Mt Albert Grammar and completed them at Lynnfield College. In 1969 he left school and followed in his father’s footsteps by starting his apprenticeship as a car painter at Dick Clark Car Painting. This was the beginning of his lifelong career.
