AUSTRALIAN FINCH SOCIETY will be at The Parrot Society Show/National on October 2 in the usual spot in the Prestwood Centre. Due to the still current Covid-19 situation, members wishing to place birds on the society’s stand for sale are requested to only use show or single cages (no blocks). Members using this facility are reminded that all cages must be clean and no more than two birds per cage. Booking-in paperwork is available from the AFS website and should be completed prior to arrival at the event. www.australianfinchsociety.co.uk

BIRMINGHAM AREA BORDER & FIFE CLUB open show will take place on October 16. For a schedule or more information, please phone Gary Haynes on 07967 048 214. The closing date for entries is October 9.

CREWE CBS will have a stand at the National in Stafford on October 2 on the balcony corner.

CORK SHOW BIRD SOCIETY the annual show will be on November 5 & 6 at North Monestary School, Cork. A member’s show will take place at the same venue on November 16.

DENBIGH & DISTRICT CBS will be holding their annual show on October 22 at the Town Hall, Denbigh, North Wales LL16 3TB. This well-established show has been running for many years and attracts fanciers from near and far.

The show hall will be open on Friday evening between 6pm and 8pm to receive entries and on the morning of the show between 7.30am and 9am. Refreshments will be available during
