BeatRoot

Chennai-based BeatRoot’s That Chair collection is made up of distinct pieces that can be described as ‘utilitarian sculptures’. The organically shaped seats, tripod legs and backrests are made from teak and polished with oil so that they develop a rich patina over time, adding to each chair’s unique form. The seats all have a small footprint and are expressive yet functional additions to any room. The design lends itself to adaptability, with flat-pack variants expected in the future.
