Il Capri
Capri
Created by husband-and-wife team Graziella Buontempo, founder of award-winning Parisian pizzeria Da Graziella, and Arnaud Lacombe, founder of Parisian hospitality group Savoir Vivre, the intimate 21-room Il Capri is housed in a Venetian-style palazzo overlooking the gulf of Naples. The building, which first became a hotel in 1899, has been thoughtfully designed by the duo to preserve original architectural elements and play off the natural colour palette of its environment, such as the pink found across the island and the striking reds of Mount Vesuvius. Room decor is comfy luxe, with natural fibres predominating and the sea and island landscape never far from view. Furnishings by local craftspeople and carefully sourced antiques complete the homey spaces. The
