Crush on you

The story of how this rare, right-hand drive ’54 Bus came into Mark’s hands is a convoluted one. Whilst living in Singapore a few years back, Mark found himself a Notchback for sale in Australia. In the process of buying that, he happened upon Alan Agyik at Das Resto Haus in Southport, Queensland, who agreed to build the car for him. It went on to win a ton of awards and the two became friends.

Some time later, Alan bumped into a guy with a story to tell. He’d been driving one day when he saw a truck going the other way with a Barndoor Bus on the back. He could tell it wasn’t being taken somewhere to be restored as it had been lifted onto the truck with a Hiab crane that had then mercilessly crushed its roof to stop it going anywhere.
