Sign of the times

In the June 2022 issue of VolksWorld, there was a feature about the Advantage KdF Wagen brochure. In the publication, there was a coloured illustration by an artist named Schneider depicting the speed and climbing ability of the KdF Wagen, depending on which of the transmission's four gears were used. After seeing that drawing, I started thinking about re-mastering it and transforming it into a 1939-era metal sign for my hobby room.

I chose the year 1939 as that was when the drawing was probably drawn, the same year the International Automobile and Motorcycle Exhibition was held in Berlin.
