THE PICS on the socials showed an on-its-sills early-2000s Holden Statesman with the passenger side rear door caved-in. The 20-inch ching-bling rear wheel’s outer hoop and tyre had been destroyed, too.

There was no way this car was drivable… and in my (admittedly limited) experience, with the extent of the damage to this two-decades-old car, it was a write-off.
