So, Run, Fly, Be, what does that mean to us as foilers and how is it reflected in your new foil line up?
First, we learn to run on the water, then we learn to fly over the water, and finally, when we have mastered these skills, we can turn our minds off and just be.
Run, Fly, Be expresses how foiling feels to us. It's a simple teaching principle for progression in the sport, but there's also an important cultural context. We have, after all, globally been through a long period of forced constraint, when many of us were not able to be out connecting with the inspiring force of nature. We also believe that we're culturally in an era of disconnection – with the natural world, each other, and ourselves. So we wanted to tap into the idea of reclaiming our natural freedom.
