The Mono Awards is the largest competition in the region celebrating the best black and white photography from Australia and New Zealand. Now in its fourth year, the single-image competition features three categories: Animals, People, and Places. It was judged by a panel of 12 respected industry experts – all masters of the medium – with specialisations covering landscape, portrait, documentary, advertising, and traditional print-making, amongst others.
