Track Cleaning: Is INOX MX3 For You?
Before going any further, if you’re happy with your method of track cleaning, stick with it. As I’ll explain later, while there are a lot of benefits to using INOX MX3, there is a price to pay and INOX is not going to be suitable for everyone.
A couple of years ago I watched a number of videos extolling the virtues of INOX MX3 for track cleaning and smooth operating.
With some initial apprehension, I started using INOX-MX3 six months later. So far, I’ve not identified any adverse issues due to the long-term use of INOX. I’m very happy with the improved running performance of all my locomotives and the dramatic reduction in the amount of time and frequency spent cleaning track.
Our group’s DCC layout has two circuits of track. Initially the first circuit I applied INOX to was almost flat. The circumference of the track is approximately 55m - 180ft. The result of applying a small amount of INOX was nothing short of remarkable.
What does INOX do?
