Apple looking solid despite tough times

APPLE HAS REPORTED a record June quarter revenue of $83bn. Although this is only 2% up from the June quarter of last year, it beat analysts’ expectations and comes despite supply constraints, Covid–related disruptions in China, and other economic “headwinds” globally, which Apple had warned could hit revenues by as much as $4bn to $8bn.

Revenue from iPhone was $40.7bn, up slightly from $39.6bn in the June quarter of 2021. Services
