WHAT ARE YOUR FIRST RECOLLECTIONS OF THE BEACH?

The first time going to the beach wasn’t to go kiting – I was a small boy and I had to cycle with my parents for 20 minutes to get there – this was a lot for me at a young age! I was that little kid running naked over the sand, playing with sand in the water. I remember that at the end of the day I had to put my clothes on again, and with all the sand still on my body it was the worst feeling ever! Later on I started windsurfing on a lake and then started flying a powerkite on the beach. So since I was 5 or 6, when we went to the beach I would jump with a kite from the dunes and play with a kite and a body board in the shorebreak. I remember a windy day jumping on
