NOW DONNA IS A senior PMC instructor in Australia and is one half of Sympatica, an enterprise she created with fellow artist Saskia Nardo. Saskia is Sympatica Ceramics and Donna, Sympatica Silver.

“I saw an article in an American publication on this new product called PMC that starts out as clay and turns to silver. It was just so exciting.”

When Precious Metal Clay was created by Mitsubishi in Japan in the early ’90s, it was considered a revolutionary product for the jewellery making industry. Made of silver powder, water and binder, it looks and feels like clay but when dry, it can be polished, soldered or engraved just like silver.
