The Kgalagadi National Park draws travellers and photographers for a variety of reasons. The simplicity of the wide open landscapes, the predators and raptors provide countless photographic opportunities. During the hot summer months, late afternoon thunderstorms, rolling in from the west, create a spectacular show to photograph. The springbuck in the image was on the way to “Marie se gat”.
