But we did the hard work of looking through the smokescreen of election campaigns, speaking with the current federal government, the opposition and the Australian Greens Party about their plans for public transport.
What we have found is that, from infrastructure funding to emphasising a sustainable future, the different sides of politics vary in their public transport policies ahead of the election.
