Sigma has announced the 24mm F1.4 DG DN | Art, a full-frame, wide-angle prime lens designed exclusively for mirrorless cameras. Building on the legacy of its extremely versatile predecessor, this lens offers improved sharpness from edge-to-edge and enhanced portability.
With incredible image quality from corner to corner, robust build quality with a dust and splash-resistant structure, plus new details that enhance the lens’ usability in the field, the new Sigma 24mm F1.4 DG DN | Art is aimed at anyone who requires a versatile, wide angle of view with minimal distortion and outstanding low-light capability. Newly introduced features include a Manual Focus Lock, which allows the user to set focus manually and lock it in place and a rear filter holder.
The lens is constructed with 17 elements in 14 groups, including two FLD, one SLD and four aspherical glass elements. It uses Super Multi-Layer Coating and Nano Porous Coating (NPC) to minimise ghosting and flare.
