New year, new Nikon glass

Another fast standard zoom is coming to the Z-mount very soon, and a high-end prime for advanced enthusiasts and professional photographers is in development

Nikon has added a new full-frame standard zoom to its family of mirrorless Z cameras, and has announced that a full-frame 800mm super-telephoto prime is in development. The Nikkor Z 28-75mm f/2.8 will be suitable for a range of shooting needs, including landscapes, portraits and street scenes – as well as macro, thanks to the optic’s minimum focusing distance and its constant f/2.8 aperture.
