GOLDMINE: What led to the launching of shopgenesimmons.com?

Well, a long time ago, as a matter of fact, the last century, the band started to put out jewelry, all kinds of stuff — charm bracelets, rings, featuring our trademarked logo. One of the things that I started to do, because I’m a wiseass, is I started to put the dollar sign instead of just a regular S but two strikes through it, and I was able to trademark that so my signature is actually trademarked. And so the jewelry came out. And once I had the trademark for the S as a dollar sign in my name, led me to wonder about whether or not I could trademark the money bag logo, which is a dollar sign inside the bag and surprisingly, the U.S. government gave me
