everal years ago, I started researching the oil tractors manufactured by Marshalls between 1906 and 1914. I was recently given access to an engineer’s notebook, held in the Gainsborough Heritage Archives, containing development notes and tests carried out on the first of these oil tractors, the Class A. With magazines, I have written a 64-page booklet.
