Wilkins brothers saved many tractors from scrap and collected many implements that were often the first to be lost. Some of these items ended up in the very disappointing Science Museum at Wroughton, Swindon, Wiltshire. However, the majority were passed on to later enthusiasts, including John Moffitt MBE, Arthur Hinch, John Bownes, and Brian Smith, to name but a few.
Charles Wilkins’ father was Charles Herbert Wilkins, known as Bert and ran the business with his brother Ted. Today, Charles lives in Burnside, South Australia and had to disperse the family’s tractor collection decades back.
