Activist actor

onnie l. betts (intentionally lowercased to honor his heritage) is an actor, director, producer, radio host, documentary filmmaker and African American historian. He was a founding member of the DCPA Theater Company, City Stage Ensemble and Denver Black Arts Company, attended Yale School of Drama, was cast in the Broadway show and acted and directed over 100 productions. Last but not least, he produces the podcast which has won four awards for radio excellence from the Colorado Association of Black Journalists.
