very Fall we are reminded how many Denverites are Germanophiles (or maybe just crazy for a good returns to Lionshead Village (Sept. 9-11) and Vail Village (Sept. 16-18). “For more than 25 years, Vail’s picturesque mountain setting combined with its Bavarian inspiration has created a destination for those looking to celebrate the 200+ year old tradition of Oktoberfest,” says Ryan Slater, Vail Oktoberfest Event Director. There will be time-honored traditions like keg bowling, stein lifting and bratwurst eating contests that are sure to keep you entertained if beer and Bavarian music aren’t enough.
