When shaping the sleevehead, if you won’t have enough stitches to complete a cable, work these stitches as stocking stitch. Note that some sizes will not work all rows of the Chart pattern.

BACK

Using 4.5mm needles, cast on 62 (70:78:86) sts.

Rib row 1 (RS): K2, *P2, K2; rep from * to end.

Rib row 2: P2, *K2, P2; rep from * to end.

Work 5 more rows in rib as set.

Next row (WS): Work in rib to end, dec 0 (0:1:1) st and inc 1 (0:0:0) st.

63 (70:77:85) sts.

Change to 5mm needles.

Starting with a K row, work 8 rows in st st.

SHAPE SIDES

Next row (RS inc): K2, M1, K to last
