PATTERN NOTE

This sock features an afterthought heel which is worked at the end. Heel and toe stitches are joined using Kitchener stitch.

SOCK

(both alike)

Using 2.5mm DPNs and yarn A, cast on 66 (72:78) sts.

Pm and join to work in the round, taking care not to twist sts.

CUFF

Rib round: *K1, P1; rep from * to end. Rep Rib round a further 11 (11:11) times.

LEG

Work 3 (3:5) rounds in st st.

Join in yarn B.

Rounds 1-4: *K3 in yarn B,
