PAINTING STREET SCENES can appear overwhelming at first glance. There can be multiple elements vying for attention while linking everything together as a coherent whole can be tricky. Working in acrylic does have advantages as quick drying times make you decisive and able to add layers rapidly.

I love working in acrylics and street scenes are my favourite theme. I work from my own photos as this provides greater insight into weather conditions or the atmosphere of the place. I use heavy body acrylics as this makes the painting look tactile and
