NOHOLME

Noholme was the second live foal of the Colombo mare, Oceana. The mare had been purchased by the famed breeder Stanley Wootton for his new stallion, Star Kingdom. It was to be a master stroke as the first foal from the mating was the flying colt, Todman who was to win the inaugural Golden Slipper when trained by Maurice McCarten and ridden by Neville Sellwood. The second was to be Noholme who was two years younger than Todman, and destined to live his life in Australia under the shadow of his famous brother.
