ATLANTIC CITY POLICE INVESTIGATING SPORTS CARD THEFT AT THE NATIONAL

The Atlantic City Police Department is investigating the theft of more than $87,000 worth of sports cards allegedly stolen from a prominent dealer at the National Sports Collectors Convention.

Rick Giddings of Gizmo’s Sportscards of Davis Junction, Ill. reported the alleged theft to Atlantic City police on the final day of The National at the Atlantic City Convention Center.

According to Giddings, who is on the board of directors of The National, the incident occurred
