For years the description ‘shed built’ conjured up images of hurriedly thrown together scooters, rattle can paint jobs and sub-standard parts. More recently it’s become a badge of honour, with some show-winning efforts emerging from sheds and home workshops across the country. Among the finest of these builders are Gary Holmes and Eric Jarvis.
