LOVE AND OTHER CELEBRITIES

The groom wore a crisp white shirt and a black bow tie, which was no surprise. The sneakers looked a bit audacious though, as did the motorcycle boots the bride had on her feet. A wide black hat on her head and a simple black dress. Other things were making it clear that this was no regular wedding. The man celebrating the union between the couple, both in their 50s, was not a priest nor an official. His name was Paolo Ciabatti, Ducati Corse’s Sporting Director.

On 23 July, the three were on the stage of the Ducati Owners Club Village during the 2022 edition of World Ducati Week (WDW), a three-day event attended by 80,000 fans from 84 countries at Italy’s Misano circuit, in Italy.
