OUR EUROPEAN ODYSSEY pt 6
“Go faster, Daddy!” come the excited cries from behind me, where Dorothy and Harrison are sitting in a trailer attached to the e-mountain bike I am riding, their happy faces beaming back at me as I steal a quick glance over my shoulder.
My attention returns to the trail in front of me, which requires my full focus, given how quickly it’s dropping down, leaving the snow-capped peaks of the Swiss Alps behind. I ignore their calls for yet more speed, if not for our collective safety, then at least for the chance to admire the views that stretch out before us.
No corner of the beautiful Valais region would look out of place on a picture postcard, and each new vista that we come across plays its part in increasing Switzerland’s enormous appeal.
