One step too far?

he start to season 2 of House Of Zwide has been a rollercoaster for the Zwide fashion family. Mom (Winnie Ntshaba) has suffered a mental breakdown after it was revealed that she had Funani’s (Vusi Kunene) first wife Busi murdered off-screen (Nefisa Mkhabela), who’s been working as an intern at House Of Zwide all along. As a result, Funani has been neglecting the business and his trusted right-hand head designer Laz (Khaya Dladla) has been forced to carry the company’s weight on their shoulders. But Laz is playing a very dangerous game behind Funani’s back. “Laz starts making very important decisions regarding the business, fraudulent decisions…” explains Khaya. “There’s signing important documents, approving certain things. Laz is only going to these lengths to save the business – Funani is preoccupied with a personal crisis,” says Khaya defending his character.
