PICK A SPOT
The first thing you need to do is pick a spot for your maze. Deserts are often a good choice because it’s easy to find large and flat areas – building on flat ground makes it easiest to keep the maze a uniform size and shape.
BUILDING THE CENTRE
Once you’ve decided on a spot, mark out the central chamber with a single layer of blocks. Not every puzzle has to be a race to the middle, but this is a classic design, and an easy way to make sure there’s something cool to find for anyone who ventures into your maze.
ADDING CORRIDORS
Once you’ve built the central chamber, the next thing to do is start to build the maze around it. At this point, your maze is just a
‘first draft’ version of itself, so only mark out the corridors with one block
