When I Started Drawing

Born in Darwin, I come from a family of three brothers. My parents immigrated to Australia in 1952 from England. As a boy, I can always remember looking out the window observing the wonders of nature. I guess you could say I was a daydreamer. I have always had a love for wild animals, especially wild cats of Africa, and also aviation. I can remember as a child, around the age of nine, I would sit and draw old houses and anything to do with aviation. I was always capturing thoughts, exploring ideas and then drawing them onto paper. I continuously had things rambling around in my head, whether it was notes, numbers, lines, or anything that would flow onto paper.
