THE PARK’S AVIAN inhabitants have certainly responded well to the recent stint of warm weather and we have seen an increase in breeding behaviour for many species.

The scarlet ibis (), which have historically laid and reared later on in the year, have reared three chicks so) has now moved into the same enclosure as the scarlet ibis. This is to give the guans a bit more room, but also to make space in their old enclosure for our newest avian inhabitant.
