Festivals offer loads of great opportunities to cut your teeth as a music photographer. Bill-topping headliners share the stage with smaller acts, and there are bound to be all sorts of weird and wonderful goings-on that are worthy of capturing with your camera.

But as well as offering such opportunities, there are concerns too. You really don’t want to be carrying a bagful of lenses around with you all day
