To start at the beginning (almost), ‘once upon a time’, removal men Ian and Gary had been tasked to clear the garage of a house in North Kent, which, in Gary’s words, “had seen a lot of traffic going in, but very little (if anything) coming out”.

The former householders were the husband, Clive Raby Wilber, who’d passed away some years previously and, somewhat later, Clive’s wife, who’d recently moved into a nursing home. A niece who’d instructed our two removal men had previously mentioned that there was an ‘old motorbike’ at the back of the garage – a garage that was overly stuffed full of redundant parts of a lifetime’s possessions, adding old push bikes into the mix.
